City TV covers the Rally against Bill C-51. On april 8 2008, Minister of Health, Tony Clement proposed Bill C-51 as a safety bill. When read it is clearly not about safety, but is about control. It will restrict your access to Natural health Products while favoring big Pharmaceuticals. Tony Clement has had past involvement with pharmaceutical companies and is clearly biased. Our Rights Are Under Attack!
Historically speaking, the citizens of Texas have long enjoyed a health care environment which has allowed a vigorous and effective complementary and alternative medicine(CAM) health care community to flourish in this state. The 2005 legislative session convincingly demonstrated that this environment has forever changed. Unless the citizens of Texas band together to codify their freedom to access the health care modalities of their choice, progressively more onerous restrictions on health care choice will be imposed by economically motivated special interest groups and their allies in the legislature. The time has come to act.
