Should i tell my mom I know she smokes?
Posted by admin on Feb 8, 2010
ok prepare to switch to an alternate reality… most parents worry about there teens smoking, but im thirnteen and i think my MOTHER is smoking behind MY back…
My mom is 45 i think… im 13…
i know its really none of my business but shes my mom and im worried about her health, especially since both my parents are from the fricken stoneage compared ot everyone else parents…
(moms 45 dads 50, theyre divorced)
but my mom has always cared about my health, she stopped smoking when she got preggers with me and it doesnt seem shes smoked since then, as far as i could tell.
but recently i asked her about a pack of cigarettes in her car and i asked her about them and she said they were her friends, and the bathroom always smells like smoke, which i thought was because we lived in an apt and she said the smoke smell could get through the walls… but today i came home and found a half used cigarette in the bathroom garbage can with its ugly *** staring me right in the face…
when she gets home ill ask her if shes had any friends over, if she says no then should i tell her i know shes smoking? should i ask her if she smokes? i know she’d listen to me b/c she listens to me which a lot of my friends parents (and yes ive seen this its not just theyre acting like their parents hate them b/c its "cool" not to have relationships with your parents…) but yeah a lot of my friends parents dont listen to them at all… but my mom would listen to me and talk to me about it… and im really worried about it since since ya know… shes old and stuff… and smokings bad for you no matter how ald or young you are!!!
it ticks me off that she always talks to me and stuff about how drugs are bad and smoking and drinking is wrong and stuff but she does it?
it feels like ive been lied to all my life >.< like when little kids realize theres no santa claus!!!
>~< i mean i understand shes smoked before and the nicotine receptor thingys and all but i havent seen signs of her doing it at all until now, altohugh she goes out with friends a lot and since my parents have been divorved a few years… shes had osme financial rtouble but dont cigarettes cost a lot of money? unless she gets them from friends… in which case i at least want her to tell me shes doing it!!! although i dont want her to do it around me… id prefer she didnt at all… help?
ok sking seriously i know its supposed ot help deal with stress but i explained it costs a lot of money for the cigarettes and money is what causes most of the stress and anyway how is she going to feel when she has to pay to have lung cancer removed? or she ends up with osme other kind of smoking related disease that has to have some kind of insanely priced treatment?
and anyway im allowed to be worried about my mother… if i was smoking to dealk with stress wouls oyu say that i should be allowed to even though im underaged??? no its not, it causes more problems and if she needs ot deal with stress she needs to find a better way
i meant no i shouldnt be allowed to
alright "proudmomof3" you fucker shes my mother and i have every right to be worried about her…
i never said i was going to fucking punish her… shes my mother and i love her and worry about her health… i wasnt going to argue with her about it… i just wanted her to tell if if she was, i have a right to know, btw she doesnt smoke it was her friends and i know because her breath doesnt smell like smoke. I wasnt going to give her crap about it im her only child and i felt i had the right to know of she was… you two that thought i was trying to control her and she was just dealing with stress… did you even fucking read the question? i never said i was going to punish her or try to make her stop, i just wanted to know if she was and was hiding it from me. And i fucking always listen to her. I dont go and sneak out or do things behind her back like most kids i know, and if you think thats what teenagers do then maybe your not such a proudmomof3 after all
Smoking actually causes more stress.
but, you should definitely talk to her about it.
It’s really nice how you are concerned for your mother’s health.
So you should sit her down and ask her if she smokes and tell her to be truthful.
Hope the best for ya! (:
will some one read my essay and tell me what i did wrong please thanx?

Work-out essay
Period 1st
12/7/06
1st point firstly
Working – out gives us the health and strength that we need to achieve our dreams. People
that fail to take proper care of themselves do not live as long and the lives that they have are never fulfilled to their greatest ability. Someone who lives off of foods such as McDonalds and walks a total of 10,00 steps each day which is the average, meaning most people should add about 2000-3000 more steps to their day. Most people in general do not have a very long life span. It’s just as the saying goes “you are what you eat.” if a person asks to have a meal super sized that person’s wishes will be granted. Studies show that regular weight lifting not only provides strength, but increase bone density. Working-out on a regular bases will give the opportunities of a full and healthy life that only the hard working get.
The following work-out plan was designed to strengthen the whole body in different ways to achieve different goals. For example, the leg exercises such as the leg curls which are required 4×10 build on endurance to the muscles that would help with any runner weather they are a long distance runner, or a sprinter. In addition the leg press also very good for any kind of physical activity that some one might be in involved in, including any sports that require jumping something like basket-ball, because the leg press isolates the muscles that are in the quadriceps (thighs), the hamstrings (back)
making the thighs do all the pushing on its own with out the rest of the legs help. Furthermore, the calf raises exercise make the calf muscles stronger, firmer, and tighter. This exercise should be done with partial reps. Some one with stronger calf’s can expect to be more endurable to not experiencing lovely shin splints. As a result, any of the leg exercises that are on the self made work-out sheet including leg curls, leg extensions, leg press, calf raises, jump rope, squats which work out the quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus maximums. Are all great exercises that can help improve anything to do with just about any need of improvement. Same with any work out on the work sheet.
2nd point secondly
For instance, there is also bench on the work – out sheet which works on the upper body such as the chest, shoulders and the arms. Equally important, is the trap bar used primarily for two exercises the trap bar dead lift and the shoulder shrugs. Dumb ball curls primary muscles are worked during standing alternate dumbbell curls are the biceps. Secondarily are the forearms, traps, and shoulders. Also, triceps are something that the work sheet has. dips are on the self made work sheet. Primary muscles worked during dips behind the back are the triceps. Secondarily are the chest, shoulders, and forearms. Equally important, is the seated shoulder press which work on the deltoid muscles (shoulder). Any person that does this exercise can expect to improve in any events that have to do with this part of the body some one like a swimmer would use this exercise to better their times. It is recommend to go high reps with a light weight.
Also, triceps extension. The triceps are the three points of anchorage, especially the large muscle running along the back of the upper arm that straightens the elbow muscles
muscle attached at 3 points: a muscle that has three points of anchorage, especially the large muscle running along the back of the upper arm that straightens the elbow Encarta. This exercise should be done so that it isolates that one part of the body (triceps). In brief there are power cleans should be done with the chest out. Hips! Explode up. Elbows out. This work out is designed to work the shoulders.
3rd point lastly, The good health and strength that we can achieve with work – outs is important to me because the only way to get something in life is to work for it, anything easy is not worth having. There will come a time when in a persons life where they don’t have their teacher always on them about getting things done. There will come a time were every one will need “self motivation.” for example if some one is to grow up with out the foundation of a good living for themselves while raise a family up to about their 40s and stop, because they are not healthy enough to stay employed to support their family financially. Moreover, where will you be in 10 years from now? Perhaps a teacher, rock star, doctor, parent what about children are you going to have a family at some point. Additionally, some one who is not willing to break down their muscles only to be rebuilt again will have a very low self confidence and self esteem. There should always be a time in life that you improve a little bit more. Keep activities that build self confidence in any situation of life, because you will be in every situation that is challenging to you eventually. One way or another every one will need to have competence, but you get to choose weather it be in a good way or a bad way. People that don’t live healthy lives also live unhappy lives. Depression can be caused by just not having the right thoughts depending on how some looks at something will depend on how they see it.
Conclusion,
Working – out is a the opportunity to fulfill and achieve anything that might require strength which is everything. Different exercise that are on the self made work-sheet can be used for many different reasons for any one, but in this case are used for improvement, because I don’t like weakness. Working-out strengthen emotionally and physically. Anything that takes a lot to get will give a lot in return.
Look out for those compound and complex sentences that may be actually better if you split them. If a sentence is too long it probably has a problem. Shorter sentences can contribute to the flow and voice of your essay and make it easier to read.

Posted by admin on Feb 1, 2010
First of all, I’m male and 18. My natural hair is brown and curly hair.
Answer the question above and followings…
If they are bad for curly hair, what is alternate product that is good for curly hair?
If possible, is there product that is natural and makes your hair health?
Any tips, even websites with good tips about curly hair care, would be greatly appreciate =D
BTW, I have been done a research about how to take care of your curly hair…I learn that two main things to style curly hair is to reduce frizzy and define curl…
Also, I learn that you can not use shampoo at all…only conditioner…is it recommended? I know this through someone’s posted comment of experience for 2 years of only use conditioner…it result someone’s hair healthier & softier (sp)
The main reason I post this question is because I have dry, damaged hair at both side of my hair…and I just wanna them go back to health and stay health…naturally…
no
its good
it helps show off hair & helps maintain it
What kind of help do single parents get in America?
Posted by admin on Jan 29, 2010
I’m a single mum in Australia and i’m just trying to see how every one gets along in life if they can’t wok with a little one.
A single parent receives $580AUD one week then $280AUD the following week, this is alternated fortnightly. We don’t receive food stamps. I have 2 girls so i do receive a little extra. Without judgment can i have some information about what americans receive?
We also have "medicare" free health care to any australian no matter what they earn, do you have something similar?
what is WIC? and section 8?
there are programs offered through the government here that help poor people, but you have to qualify for them by showing proof of income and expenses, nothing in America is given automatically to everyone. We do not have health care. If your job offers medical insurance, you pay a lowered fee for care, but you also have to pay for the health care plan. For example, my DH pays about $300 USD a month to get health care through his job. If your job does not offer health care, and you are poor enough, then you can apply for Medicaid, which is govt health care. Then the doctors and nurses treat you like crap and you can only go to places that accept the govt medical care. Where I live, they only give medical to children and pregnant women, so even poor single parents can be stuck without any health care and out of pocket it is VERY expensive.
WIC is a program for women and kids up to 5 years. They give you milk and cereal and cheese and formula for babies if you are poor and you qualify.
There are food stamps if you are poor you can apply for. They give you money basically but you can only spend it on food at the grocery. Where I live, a mom and 3 kids only gets about $350 USD for food for a month, which if you have kids that are older and eat as much ascan adult, isn’t really enough to pay for all your food, but it helps a lot.
Section 8 is a housing program. Again, you have to be very poor to get this. They give money to pay for you to rent a house or apartment. The place you rent has to accept section 8 money for you to be able to live there. Unfortunately, because of the amount of very trashy people on section 8 and the amount of crime and drugs that seem to be prevalent in areas that accept it, only the neighborhoods that are very poor and trashy and unsafe usually accept section 8, so if you are decent and want to send your kids to a decent school and not have to worry about then getting shot on a street corner, even if you qualify for section 8, it is of no use.
There is also a program that gives you a monthly check to help support your family, but it is very hard to get from what I’ve seen.
There is also unemployment, which is where if you lose your job, for a little while they will give you some money to get by till you find another. It doesn’t last long though and not everyone can get it. It depends on a lot of factors.
That’s pretty much America’s support system for single parents or poor people.

Posted by admin on Jan 25, 2010
I injured my left wrist the a couple days ago ( I was sparring in karate and got kicked in the hand) and went to the doctor today. (I am female by the way). My doctor didn’t do a lot of tests on my wrist and just looked at it for a minute and asked if I could move it. I said I could move it a bit, but it was painful. He just told me to take ibuprofen..but I have been doing that since I hurt myself and that hasn’t helped. I also have been alternating with ice and heat, but that only helps a little bit then the pain returns. The dr didn’t even say to use a splint or ace bandage. However, I had an old wrist brace from another injury so I decided on my own to wear it. But I’m concerned there may be something seriously wrong since it hurts when I move it. (I have medicaid, so he doesn’t get paid a lot..so I’m guessing his health care isn’t as great as some dr’s with regular insurance). I’ve heard fractures aren’t always obvious or painful. So how can I get it checked out?
Fractures usually come with swelling. If your wrist was not swollen the some doctors will not send you for an X-ray. Also it depends on how you were able to move your wrist. He should have watched to see the range of motion in your wrist. This is part of the evaluation.
It is unusual for a fracture to not be obvious or painful but it does happen.
It is a good idea to keep the wrist immobile for the next couple of days. If the pain gets worse or your wrist or hand starts to swell go back and see your doctor or find another doctor. Tell the doctor that it is getting worse and you want to rule out a fracture. If he does not send you for an X-ray ask for one.
I wish you the best.

Posted by admin on Jan 22, 2010
HERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR ALTERNATE BAILOUT PLANS THAT WON’T COST THE TAXPAYER 700 BILLION. THIS WAS WRITTEN BY DAVID SEROTA:
THERE ARE CLEARLY BETTER AND SAFER ALTERNATIVES (FOR BAILOUT)
The mantra throughout the week has been that America has "no choice" but to pass Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson’s $700 billion giveaway – that, in effect, there are no alternatives. But that’s an out-and-out lie – one with a motive: Making it seem as if the only thing we can do is hand the keys to the federal treasury over to both parties’ corporate campaign contributors. The truth is, there are a number of alternatives. Here are just a few:
* In the Washington Post last week, Galbraith outlined a multi-pronged plan shoring up and expanding the FDIC, creating a Home Owners Loan Corporation, resurrecting Nixon’s federal revenue sharing, and taxing stock transactions (a tax that would fall mostly on speculators) to finance the whole deal.
*The Service Employees International Union has drafted a plan based around a massive investment in public services and national health care, and regulatory reforms preventing foreclosures and forcing banks to renegotiate the predatory terms of their bad mortgages.
* For those in the mindless, zombie-ish "someone has to do something!" camp, consider the possibility that you are under the spell of the same kind of White House fear that led us to invade Iraq because of Saddam’s supposed WMD. Consider, perhaps, that there may not even be a compelling basis for doing anything just yet (or at least not anything nearly so huge), and that the whole reason there is this urgent push right now has nothing to do with the financial situation, and everything to do with creating the political dynamic to pass a wasteful giveaway – one that couldn’t be passed otherwise without a sense of emergency.
In two separate posts (here and here), CEPR’s Baker says that letting the problem play out could be the best path, because Treasury and the Fed may already have the tools they need. Following this path, the worst thing that happens is "The Fed and Treasury will have to step in and take over the banks is exactly what many economists argue should happen anyhow," Baker writes. "So the outcome of the worst case scenario is a really frightening day in which the whole world financial system is shaken to its core, followed by a government takeover of the banks. Eventually the government straightens out the books and sells them off again. But the real threat here is not to the economy, it is to the banks."
* Then there is the idea of simply taking the $700 billion and simply give it to struggling homeowners to help them pay off part of their mortgages. This hasn’t even been discussed but the thought experiment it involves is important to understanding why there is, indeed, an alternative to the Paulson plan. If the root of this problem is people not being able to pay off their mortgages, and those defaults then devaluing banks’ mortgage-backed assets, then simply helping people pay their mortgages would preserve the value of the mortgage-backed assets and recharge the market with liquidity. That would be a bottom-up solution helping the mass public, rather than a top-down move helping only financial industry executives.
On this latter proposal, some may argue that giving any relief to homeowners is "unfair" in that those homeowners created their problems, so why should taxpayers have to help them? But then, is helping homeowners any less fair than simply giving all the money away to Wall Street, no strings attached? I’d say no – and helping homeowners also serves a second purpose: namely, keeping people in their homes, which not only helps them, but helps an entire neighborhood (as any homeowner knows, nearby properties can be devalued when foreclosures hit).
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE ALTERNATE BAILOUT PLANS? SHOULD WE WRITE CONGRESS? OR JUST GIVE THE POOR BANKS 700 BILLION OF OUR HARD EARNED MONEY— NO STRINGS ATTACHED?
RHYKER My question was and is: "is their a better way to get money to the credit markets then a blank check from us TaxPayers? Myself I don’t fall down when I sing and walk at the same time, but some do.
OMG, this is way too long to read, sorry!
Should I go for this? (CNA + High school?) This is a long-looking one, but I’d appreciate any input.?

First off, let me say that, aside from a couple of electives and 2 (each) English/Global credits, I’m pretty much done with my Advanced Regents Diploma credits (I took honors courses starting in Middle school, so I’m, for the most part, a year ahead.) I would like to pursue a career in health care, most likely and RN (In Hospice, perhaps?)
As a junior and senior (I’m a sophomore, planning my schedule right now.), I can take a half-school-day (4 of 8 periods) class (BOCES Vo-Tech, if you’re familiar with it.) that will end in me getting a (free!) Nurse Assisting Certification (therefore, depending upon what my not-really-considered,-to-be-honest college life looks like, a pretty decent job), lots of science/English credits, and, from what I’ve been told, something that looks really good on College apps. (Plus, it would give me two years to figure out if this is even the kind of work I want to do, and no commitment if I want to leave after a semester.)
This would be in addition to my AR diploma (I’d do regular classes for the other half of the day, obviously.)
My only dilemma is whether it would be a better move to just load up on regular classes. Here are my courses for next year (Keep in mind that I have another year after this, that’s even more open… I’ll only HAVE TO take 1 class as a senior, so anything I don’t take next year, I can do as a Senior.), according to my (rather unhelpful, actually) guidance counselor (classes I’ll definitely be taking, regardless, have an asterisk by them):
-Honors English*
-US History*
-French*
-Gym/Human Anatomy* (Alternating – every other day.)
-Typing
-Forensics (I don’t know. She just plopped me in there. I hear it’s an easy A, though…)
-College Alg. (Def. Taking this one at some point in the next 2 years.)
-Piano (I’m currently in the beginner class and love it.)
The vo-tech classes through high school are wonderful.. I say go for it!
I took Licensed Practical Nursing my senior year of high school, and finished it the following year. I am now a nurse at the age of 19, and have been for close to 8 months.
I’m working on classes to become an RN, am working in a hospital (mother-baby floor), and absolutely love what I do. I only had to pay a total of $6,000 including tuition, books, uniforms, etc (which is far cheaper than the $25,000) course offered at other places (which you can’t even start until after you graduate high school).
I don’t regret my decision at all, and I applaud you for thinking about beginning your healthcare career so early (and trust me, we need more nursing assistants).
Good luck with everything!
My alternate ending to crossing jordan what do you think?

Final Goodbye
It’s all in my head, literally
3 A.M. Monday
Restlessly, Jordan woke with the worst headache she had imagined.
It felt as though someone had just hit her in the head with something weighing 100 pounds.
God, what do I do? She thought. I can’t say anything not one word, besides they would pity me.
They were her morgue family, a group of people who had no one. They had each other.
I especially can’t tell Garret, he’s been through enough, she thought.
Desperate to sleep, Jordan swallowed an aspirin and went back to bed.
9 A.M. Monday
"What’d do we got anything, Garret?" Jordan asked impatiently as she fidgeted at her desk.
"Surprisingly, nothing. New record 24 hours, no bodies." said Garret.
Relentless, her hand started shaking on her desk.
Gradually, it was gaining speed and starting to pick up in intensity.
"Jordan, what’s going on? You’re hiding something I can sense it." Garret said.
"Huh? Oh, it’s really nothing I’m fidgeting just a bad habit, you know?" Jordan said.
"Really? Then stop." said Garret. Slowly, Jordan managed to stop the shaking
and answered the ringing cell phone.
"Cavanaugh." she answered punctually trying to sound professional.
"Jordan, I’ve got 2 db’s down here. Apparent suicide both had clinical depression.
Husband and wife married 23 years, husband had affair. I’m on 12th and main,
see yea when you get here." Woody said as he hung up.
Love and Suicide?
9:15 Monday
"Wow, that’s love killing each other together.
Literally, ’til death do us part…" Jordan said sarcastically.
"Yeah, talked to the neighbors they’d stay in for days, no outside contact."
Woody fired back.
"Kelly Johnson, the other women’s being interrogated as we speak.
CSU is testing her for gunshot residue, fingerprints and searching her place."
He finished.
"It’s a shame, you know being in their 50’s and depressed.
Wonder what about." Jordan said.
All we can do is wait and see she thought.
Monday 10 A.M.
Back at the morgue, Jordan decided to look through the couple’s
health records. Worried, Garret decided to check on her to see
how she was doing. Jordan showed him the records,
turning the monitor to show him.
Having more bouts of painful headaches,
Jordan rubbed her hand where it hurt hoping for some comfort.
"Jordan, you ok?." he asked. "Yeah, just an itch." she replied.
Quickly, she turned and hid her hand which shook violently.
Relizing, she was going to have a seizure Jordan mentally tried
to prepare herself.
As her eyes began to roll back in her head,
she slowly fell to the floor shaking violently everywhere.
"Jordan!" Garret shouted protectively. "Someone help!"
Post seizure
Patiently, Garret waited for Jordan to wake up from the seizure.
She opened her eyes, noticing Garret holding up four fingers.
"How many fingers?" he asked, his voice strained.
"Coffee." she answered sarcastically.
"Cat’s outta the bag, again.
Oh, Garret I’m sorry I should’ve told you."
she paused sobbing a little as pulled out her CAT scan.
Trying not to seem somewhat angry,
he hugged her for dear life.
"It’s back, what do you mean? Not possible,
not to you. You don’t deserve that!" he said.
"Garret, I’m dying they can’t do anything.
It’s around the Cortaid artery. Nothing else to do."
Jordan said. "Come on, you’re going home."
said Garret. "What so I can die alone?"
she said. "I’m goin’ with you." he said.
"Any last wishes?" he asked.
"I think I’ll write a goodbye letter when we get there.
I don’t think I’ve got much time, more violent seizures
increasing in frequency. Losing short term memory,
let’s go." said Jordan.
Waiting for the inevitable
"Garret, I want you to know…I’ve always loved you.
More than just a friend always." said Jordan.
"Me too, always." he replied.
Just as he and Jordan met for a long, romantic kiss.
"Jordan, no matter what I love you." Garret said.
"I love you, too." she answered back.
Back at the morgue, Nigel and Bug had cracked the case.
It turned out Kelly had wanted the husband all to herself.
This had resulted in not only murdering the wife,
but also the husband. "Revenge, sometimes deadly."
Nigel said. "Hey have you heard from Dr. Macy?"
asked Bug. "Nope, left 2 messages on the tele
no answer."
It had dawned on Jordan, these were her last, delicate moments on earth.
It was getting harder to breathe and her heart had slowed.
She told Garret again she loved him and she was sorry for not
telling him sooner. The surgery was hard, dying’s easy but
I’m not at all ready to leave yet, she thought.
She ordered Garret to open the letter when she was gone.
It would remind him she wanted to be buried by her mom.
And also what he meant to her.
"Garret, I’m scared I don’t wanna leave you.
I’m sorry we didn’t get together sooner."
she said. He held her tighter,
holding her like a newborn infant.
She couldn’t breathe any longer,
she said what she knew were her last words.
"I love you." and she was gone just like that.
Last Words
Back at the morgue, everyone had been wondering what going on.
Garret had gathered everyone in the conference room.
After saying what had happened he opened the letter.
Everyone quieted down to hear him read it.
He had tears as he was unfolding it.
Dear all,
If you are reading this I am finally gone where ever that is.
I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, always remember you’re
wonderful, caring people.
Woody, I’m sorry we didn’t work out, I hope you’ll forgive me.
You always tried to get closer, as I pushed you away.
I’m sorry I was afraid of love and trust.
If I could start life over, I would have laughed more,
loved more, trusted more.
Bug and Lily I hope you’ll stay together, I hope
little Madlyn will have a great life.
I regret not having children in my life.
Nigel, hope you find that special someone.
Maybe, someone as weird and strange as you.
Garret, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you how
I felt sooner. I hope things with Abby
work out some day.
Thank you for staying until the bitter end.
I know it is near and hope my sake my mom’s up there.
If I see Devan or Lu I will tell them good things about you all.
Please bury me at St. Ann’s preferably by my mother.
I love you all,
Jordan
Everyone was at the cemetery, gathered around Jordan’s grave.
Garret said "We are here today to remember Jordan Cavanaugh.
We will have a moment silence to honor here starting now."
Everyone lit candles and held hands until the moment was over.
Garret handed out flowers of purple and pink, Jordan’s favorite colors.
Garret was the last to leave,
he whispered "You’re my bestest girlfriend."
thats sad…. a little too sad… of course i wanted her an woody to stay together…
How to find someone’s AGI?
Posted by admin on Dec 27, 2009
So, my ex and I are divorced and have joint custody. We alternate custody on a weekly basis and the division of time that our boys spend with each of us is about equal. I, however, have paid ALL of the health care expenses this year although it was in our custody agreement that we were to BOTH carry the insurance/debts. It is not stated in our divorce decree who is allowed to take the deductions and, to date, we have been claiming one child each. According to the IRS publications, it does not appear that my responsibility for the financial burden will have any bearing on my being able to claim both boys on my taxes and the the parent who is allowed to claim them is the one with the highest adjusted gross income (AGI.) ???? Just want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly . . . if so, how do I go about obtaining his AGI so that I don’t make a huge mistake by filing and then owing the IRS?
And, no, we don’t talk, otherwise, I’d just ask him.
General rule: The parent who has possession of the body the most time gets the exemption. The other parent has the burden of proof. The divorce decree means nothing. IRS doesn’t care about it because it doesn’t prove what actually happens.
Anyone else having their children stay home from school to boycott Obama’s brainwashing speech?
Posted by admin on Dec 23, 2009
Even though it is the first day of school tomorrow, I am keeping my children home from school in protest of Obama’s socialist brainwashing speech. He is going to indoctrinate our children to become the new Hitler Youth by preaching socialism, claiming that their grandparents deserve to be Euthanized (like his plan for health care reform requires), and say that homosexuals have the right to marry multiple partners or even sheep.
Now I tried to call my school’s superintendent to complain, and while he said that they would gladly accommodate an alternate activity for my children should they wish to not see the propaganda video, I feel this is not good enough as the children would need to go back to class immediately afterwards, and what if the other children decide to tell them what happened, well, that just horrifies me too. Not to mention, that to have even a single child exposed to this speech is an utter horror. Needless to say, the superintendent would not listen to my plea to ban the speech district-wide, even though I broke down crying during my call.
Any other parents feel the same way?
Why are you sending your children for socialized education in the first place? If you don’t want them indoctrinated, why not send them to private school or home school them? That way you could teach them about intelligent design and the trickery of the left with their propaganda, lies about global warming and evolution.
Why should the rest of us pay for your kids’s education? What part of public don’t you understand? You don’t want to pay for my health care, I don’t want to pay for your children’s education.
