Sodium Intake Health Nutrition Too Much Salt?

Posted by admin on Nov 6, 2009

Is taking excess of 100% daily suggested Sodium bad for your health? In what ways does too much sodium affect your health? It seems that a meal can easily exceed the daily recommended sodium (for example, 1 Burrito is 100% of daily sodium, 4 slices of pizza is over 100% sodium, etc.) Please let me know about the health concerns of sodium.

sodium makes you bloat and dehydrates you. too much salt is bad for your heart, so just eat regular meals with low salt concentrations.

Where can I find up to date, non biased, information about the health care reform, online?

Posted by admin on Nov 6, 2009

The news is useless, and unreliable, so maybe there is an alternate source… Like a website that just shows the votes, and what’s been determined so far?

The Congress decided not to post their bills on line. Even when they come up with one to actually vote on, it will not be posted.

You can watch the hearings about the bills on line on the CS PAN site and get a pretty good idea of what will be in the bills.

How much Bach Rescue Remedy do I give my kitten?

Posted by admin on Nov 6, 2009

I bought a small bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy from a health food store today. I know to put 4 drops in a glass of water or under my tongue, but how much do I put in my 3 month old kitten’s water to calm him down? I know you can’t really give too much since it’s natural stuff, but it was expensive so I don’t want to waste it when less would do. Thanks.

Is there something wrong that he needs it or you just want to calm his nerves? 1or 2 drops would work. Put it in a plastic spoon (do not use metal) with a small amount of water. Then give it your kitten. Good luck!

Why do media like CNN talk so much about health and nutrition, but never cover drug use in schools?

Posted by admin on Nov 2, 2009

Isn’t ILLIGAL drug addiction a very serious health problem? By our silence are we saying it is socially exceptable? Is the left leaning media covering up the depth of the problem? Why the silence?

You have watched very little outside of "entertainment" programming if you think the networks have ignored the problem of illicit drugs. Further, your comment "left leaning media" is absolutely meaningless. Lefties and liberals do not condone substance abuse any more than righties and fascists like the Bush administration. We all recognize how serious a problem substance abuse is.
There are, however, other problems just as serious and just as urgent. Malnutrition among school-aged children is one of them. Sex abuse of children by clergymen is another. Contamination of our water supplies and of our meats is another. So you tell me: shall we ignore the risk of mad cow disease and report exclusively on the dealing going down on the corner? Should we ignore increasingly threatening environmental degradation in favor of describing how your shlthead of a boyfriend does marijuana? Which problem shall we report and which shall we ignore?

Does anyone agree or disagree with my following opinion of "gays" and "transgendering" of humans?

Posted by admin on Nov 2, 2009

All I have to say, is that I’d rather not take a communal shower with a dog that wants to have sex with me, or a man that wants to have sex with me.

Homosexuality rapes the civil lifestyle that society would like to prevail. There is simply no ability to know for sure who is and who’s not. There are so many increasing numbers of those who used to be man, but now are "women" and vice-versa.

I think homosexuality is the incapability to deal with life as your parents created you. Actually I believe God created you, but even if you don’t and you feel your parents did so with no divine intervention, than , well, that’s why I said parents.

Anyways, seeing that one is incapable of living content with what package they were born with, or whether mutilation of said body and package is what is preferred, either way, it shows a defective mental health picture of which shows me, a physician that one is in need of mental health care and not bodily mutilation, nor destroying what is known as civil "norms", and tearing down "marriage" as it was sanctified by God.

This may not be a popular opinion with the gay crowd, but I present my answer as an alternate to eliminating the judeo-Christian standards upon which this society is based. Get Help, Not Surgery. We are born complete, and even if you dont’ believe in god, believe this. Bodies supposedly evolved to reproduce and survive. By choosing to not be "hetero" you are obviously giving in to what would be considered the weaker tendancies of a species by not procreating. In summation, evolution would eliminate those who are not gay since they are using their minds to further a cause their natural bodies cannot provide.
Dr. D.

please, let’s have a good, thoughtful conversation without insulting one another….

well said, sound statements, yes, i agree!

Im 5′7 and i weight 145 am not overweight i need to make healthy choices, and give my stomach a break, now it’s not severe pain the pain radiates to my back and my doctor said it could be my gall bladder and she said come back if you have vomitting or fever come back, Im doing this to myself my mom always say when you go to a restaurant with me make healthy choices on saturday my father took us out for dinner at a diner place for 5 star and like i ordered a classic like 8oz. cheesburger deluxe with a milkshake and my mom was mad she told my father you see what she’s eating that’s what you giving you abdominal cramps come on get something else i didn’t listen now the next day my left side started to hurt it was just bloated feeling and shoulder blade pain with i was like ugh!!! so i went to a health food store i love natural medicine it helps tremendously and i think americans like me should rely on that like come on it’s not synthetic money making drugs that FDA has approved it’s ridiculous it doesn’t work now am on a detox colon cleansing i just started today i need to do that with also eating right more vegetables in my diet because my stomach is mad. what food i should stay from? what food is great for the stomach? who had a condition like this and natural medicine helped them?

Cut out the meat and dairy, avoid processed foods, and greatly increase your consumption of raw fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of filtered water.

To combat yeast take 2 garlic capsules 3x daily, and avoid sugar and fruit juices.
